Concept of politics
If everyone could have everything they wanted whenever they wanted, then there would have been no such thing as politics. Politics has been understood by many different ways but only one thing is clear to all that human experience never provides us with everything we want. In order to get what we want we need to compete, struggle, compromise and sometimes fight for things. After doing so, we develop a language to explain and justify our claims and to challenge, contradict and answer to the claims made by others. Now, all of this can be a language of interests, whether of individuals or groups or it might be the language of values such as liberties and rights for justice. Before doing all of this, political concepts must be clear. These ideas and concepts help us to make the claims and defend our interests.
Political life is a part of the necessary response in our everyday life towards different challenges. It is basically the recognition that collective action is often better than individual action. Above all, politics is a noble activity in which people decide the rules they will live by and the goals they will perhaps, collectively pursue.
